SöderS annual meeting
SöderS is a non-profit organization, which means that it is the members who have the power over us. SöderS has two annual meetings, the autumn and spring meetings, to which members are invited to make decisions about our finances, activities and elected representatives. As a student union, the members' influence over the organization is also regulated by the Higher Education Act and the Student Union Ordinance.
About the spring meeting
The spring meeting takes decisions on the coming financial year. Decisions on the operational plan, financial framework and organizational plan are adopted at the spring meeting. Elections to positions of trust are held at the spring meeting. The spring meeting takes place in May each year, following a decision by the Board.
At each spring meeting, the following items are discussed:
- Closure of the meeting
- Opening of the meeting
- Establishment of the voting list
- Adoption of the agenda
- Question on the quorum of the annual meeting
- Election of meeting leaders
- Election of the meeting secretary
- Election of persons to adjust the meeting and count the votes
- Adoption of the rules of procedure of the annual meeting
- Consideration of motions and bills received
- Determination of membership fees for the next financial year
- Election of the nomination committee
- Election of the auditor and authorized public accountant
- Determining the size of the Board
- Election of the Board of Directors
About the autumn meeting
The autumn meeting takes decisions concerning the past financial year. The fall meeting shall take place in November of each year as decided by the Executive Board.
The following items are discussed at each autumn meeting:
- Opening of the meeting
- Establishment of the voting list
- Adoption of the agenda
- Question on the quorum of the annual meeting
- Election of meeting leaders
- Election of the meeting secretary
- Election of persons to adjust the meeting and count the votes
- Adoption of the rules of procedure of the annual meeting
- Consideration of motions and bills received
- Adoption of the annual report and audit report
- Discharge of the Board of Directors
- Closure of the meeting

The members of the Student Union are hereby invited to the spring annual meeting!
Time and place
Vårsammanträdet äger rum den 28 maj i kårlokalen (SöderS Pub) kl. 17:00.

På vårsammanträdet fastställer medlemmarna verksamhet och ekonomi för det kommande året och utser studenter till studentkårens förtroendeuppdrag.

Register for the annual meeting
Registration for the annual meeting is not mandatory, but it helps us to plan the venue and refreshments.
The Annual Meeting will be held in Swedish, but there will be the possibility of some adaptation by having the Annual Meeting documents translated into English.
