Book SöderS Pub
SöderS Pub can be booked by the student union's associations and activities on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays with a closing time of 01.00 at the latest.
Booking procedure and rules
To book the event
- The booking request must be submitted at least 14 days before the desired date. If the booking is for a Saturday or Sunday, the booking request must be received no later than the Friday preceding the 14 days before the event.
- All event guests must be students at Södertörn University and be over 18 years old.
- The number of guests must not exceed 400 people.
- When making a reservation, a serving manager (SA) and at least one sobriety manager (NA) per 100 estimated guests must be specified.
- Events that take place in the pub may not be marketed before the booking is approved by SöderS Pub.
- Any changes from the information provided should be communicated to the booking manager.
Booking of security guards
It is SöderS Pub that decides whether guards should be booked based on the type of event and the estimated number of guests. Guards are paid by the organizer.

During and after the event
- Age and student checks must be carried out on all event guests. This must be done at the entrance by the association or by guards.
- Any external co-organizers are not allowed to buy alcoholic drinks at the bar. It should be clear to event officials who are external.
- The bar manager together with other bar staff have the right to close the bar earlier than agreed if guests are considered too intoxicated or if other problems occur.
- After the event, the premises must be restored to good condition and leftover food / decorations and the like that the association has brought to the premises must be taken down. See the cleaning schedule for more information.
- The venue must be vacated by 02:00 at the latest, unless otherwise agreed between the organizer and SöderS Pub.
- If anything is destroyed in or around the premises, the association is responsible for any costs.
If the above rules are not followed, the association will be charged a fee between SEK 1000-8000 depending on the extent. The right to book the pub can also be deprived of the association in the short or long term.
Become a volunteer in SöderS Pub!
SöderS Pub is run voluntarily by students who want to contribute to creating new and fun meetings and a vibrant campus.
As a functionary in SöderS Pub, you are part of a team with several other students who run the student pub and organize pub nights and association events.

Being a volunteer in the student pub not only gives you an incredible sense of community:

Plus, you'll have plenty of opportunities to flex your bartending skills.
Get involved
You do not need any previous experience to become an official in SöderS Pub. After you have submitted your application, the pub's volunteer manager will contact you and provide more information. At the first shift, you will receive an introduction from the manager on site.
