In the event of an alarm
If the fire alarm goes off, you must evacuate the premises immediately. The assembly point is Blickatorget outside the university's main building.
Everyone must stay and await further information and instructions from the rescue leader or property owner before it is okay to return to the building.
Fire protection
The student union premises are equipped with various types of protection at and against fire. There are also sprinklers in the ceiling, etc….
In case of fire
If a fire breaks out in the premises, you must immediately raise the alarm using the nearest alarm button. In F Building on floor 5, the nearest alarm button is by the emergency exit to the left of the stage.

Need for acute psychiatric care
In cases of high suicide risk, call the Stockholm County psychiatric emergency ward in the first instance. It is also possible to call 112, which has access to PAM (Psychiatric Acute Mobility) – in short, an ambulance for acute psychiatric conditions including acute suicide risk. It is on duty every day from 14:00 to 02:00, but the police can also assist in cases of acute suicide risk around the clock.

Stockholm County Psychiatric Accident and Emergency Department
Open around the clock and accepts everyone who lives or is staying in Stockholm County. You can come to the emergency department by yourself or with a relative. Access to the emergency department can also be via ambulance, police transport or through other care, such as addiction care services.

Mandometer Clinics
Treats patients with various eating disorders, of all ages and both genders. They have five clinics in Sweden; four in Stockholm and one in Alingsås. As a Stockholm resident, you apply to the Mandometer clinics yourself via a self-referral. The self-referral can be found on 1177.se, under “Våra e-tjänster” at the Mandometer clinics. Here you log in with BankID or Freja eID Plus.
Self-referral does not automatically lead to treatment at the Mandometer clinics. If you need to get in touch with the Mandometer clinics quickly for help and support, you are welcome to call the telephone number below.

Stockholm Centre for Eating Disorders
Stockholm Centre for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) provides outpatient, day care and inpatient care for patients of all ages. They accept patients primarily from Stockholm, but also from other parts of the country. Patients come to SCÄ either via a referral or by submitting a self-referral. They also offer support to family and friends.

Politically and religiously independent non-profit organisation that provides support to victims of crime, witnesses and relatives. Crime victims can remain anonymous in their contact with us, the support is free of charge, we have made a pledge of confidentiality and no police report is required to receive support.

Offers urgent conversation and crisis support. Part of the Church of Sweden’s pastoral care. Open every evening from 21:00 to 06:00. Call 112 and ask to be put through to the On-call Priest. The priests are bound by absolute professional secrecy. The call is not recorded and what is said stays between you.
The Suicide Helpline
90 101. You can call the Suicide Helpline round the clock. You can also chat with the Suicide Helpline via the organisation Minds website. The Suicide Helpline is for those who have thoughts of taking their own life, but also for those who have questions and suspect that a loved one may be at risk. You can remain anonymous if you wish.
The people who answer the Suicide Helpline work as volunteers at Mind and they all have training in suicide prevention.

Act of violence
Procedures, information and contact details in the event of, or threat of, acts of violence on campus.
During an ongoing act of violence
For the safety of those involved, you should immediately contact the university's security guard If you witness acts of violence on university premises, remember to protect yourself.
While waiting for security guards, it is important that you try to distract from the acts of violence without putting yourself in harm's way.
An act of violence on the student union’s premises or at operation
Any criminal incidents within the Student Union’s operation must be reported to the Student Union’s Chair or Secretary-General as soon as possible. The Student Union’s management is responsible for taking appropriate action and liaising with the university and, where necessary, other authorities.
Porting, suspension and dismissal
If an act of violence occurs in connection with SöderS operation, SöderS may decide to ban individuals from SöderS’s premises.
The victim can also file a report for disciplinary measures against the person who committed the acts of violence. In severe cases, a person may also be expelled from the education system in Sweden.

If you feel you have been wrongly treated by or within SöderS and student life
If you have experienced or witnessed inappropriate or unfair behaviour within SöderS, you can report this to the crisis management team using the support contact form. Reports of misconduct can be made regarding the whole of SöderS, i.e. even if it concerns a association or a operation within the student union.
Task management and anonymity
Submitted contact details are only accessible to the crisis management team. If the crisis management team deems it appropriate and necessary, the details may be shared with individual staff members for further handling of the matter. If you do not wish for the information to reach the crisis management team, you can get in touch with an individual within SöderS.
You can submit a report without providing contact details. If you choose to remain anonymous, however, the crisis management team's ability to obtain supplementary information and provide feedback to you will be limited.
Inappropriate or unfair behaviour by the higher education institution or within your programme
If you feel unfairly or incorrectly treated by the higher education institution or by an individual teacher, you should contact the student and doctoral student ombudsmen directly, who handle student rights cases.
