Do something important –
become a student representative!
Educational surveillance is one of SöderS' primary missions. Through SöderS' status as a student union, we own the issue of appointing student representatives at Södertörn University. Through student representation, we promote student influence over the quality of education and the campus spirit at the university and on Campus Flemingsberg.

As a student representative, you have the opportunity to influence your education and that of your fellow students. Among other things, the role involves attending meetings where issues concerning your education are discussed, evaluated and planned. This can include, for example, what should be included in courses and programmes or what literature should be used in the education.
No special prior knowledge is required. The role of student representative involves approximately 2 hours of work per month.

Become a student representative
Student representatives are appointed by the student union. To be appointed, you must first complete our introduction. The reason for this is partly because it is an official position of trust granted to you by the student union, but also for your own sake; it is important that you, as a student representative, know your rights and obligations and feel confident in the role.
