SöderS is the student union of Södertörn University, and has been since its inception in 1996.
We work for high-quality and legally secure education, a strong student influence, a vibrant campus, and a sustainable and transparent student movement.
The foundation of our operation is its members and the voluntary efforts of the university’s students. It is together with them that we can manage student life at the university, ensure that students’ voices are heard, and work to ensure high-quality education and good standards for future generations of students. It is through our membership fees that we ensure precisely this. We pay stipends to student representatives, establish and support student societies, and provide legal support to students and associations. You could say that we are the students’ trade union whilst they are studying.

The Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is SöderS’s highest decision-making body and consists of the student union’s members. The meeting is held twice a year: the Autumn Meeting and the Spring Meeting.
Hitract
As a student union member, you can join Hitract. You’ll also find many of our student associations members there. On Hitract, you can view and buy tickets for our activities and events.
