Book Söder's Pub
SöderS Pub can be booked by the Student Union’s societies and organisations on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with events ending no later than 01.00.
Booking procedure and rules
To book the event
- The booking request must be submitted at least 14 days before the desired date. If the booking is for a Saturday or Sunday, the booking must be received no later than the Friday preceding the 14 days before the event.
- All event guests must be students at Södertörn University and over 18 years of age.
- The number of guests must not exceed 400 people.
- When booking, a designated person for serving alcohol (SA) and at least one person responsible for sobriety (NA) per 100 estimated guests must be specified.
- Events taking place in the pub must not be marketed before the booking has been approved by SöderS Pub.
- Any changes to the provided information must be reported to the booking manager.
Booking of guards
It is SöderS Pub that decides whether security guards are to be booked based on the type of event and the estimated number of guests. Security guards are paid for by the organiser.

During and after the event
- Age and student verification must be carried out for all event guests. This is to be done at the entrance by the association or by security guards.
- Any external co-organisers are not permitted to purchase alcoholic beverages from the bar. It must be clear to event officials who the externals are.
- The serving manager, together with other bar staff, has the right to close the bar earlier than agreed if the guests are considered too intoxicated or if other problems occur.
- After the event, the venue must be restored to good condition, and any food leftovers, decorations and similar items brought into the venue by the association must be cleared away. See the cleaning schedule for further information.
- The premises must be vacated by 02.00 at the latest, unless otherwise agreed between the organiser and SöderS Pub.
- If anything is damaged in or in the vicinity of the premises, the association will be responsible for any costs incurred.
If the above rules are not followed, the society will be charged a fee of between 1,000 and 8,000 SEK, depending on the severity of the breach. The society may also have its right to book the pub withdrawn, either in the short or long term.

SöderS Pub is run on a voluntary basis by students who want to help create new and fun meetings and a vibrant campus.
As an official in SöderS Pub, you are part of a team with several other students who run the student pub and organise pub nights and association events.

Get involved
You do not need any previous experience to become a volunteer at SöderS Pub. After you have submitted your application, the pub's volunteer manager will contact you and provide more information. At your first shift, you will receive an introduction from the manager on site.

SöderS Pub söker just nu engagerade studenter till fyllnadsvalet för pubstyrelsen 2026. Uppdraget gäller till januari 2027.
Rollerna som finns att söka är: vice ordförande, ekonomiansvarig, vice ekonomiansvarig, inköpsansvarig, bokningsansvarig, funktionärsansvarig, marknadsföringsansvarig, eventansvarig.
Tidigare erfarenhet är meriterande, men inget krav. Det viktigaste är att du är intresserad av att utveckla studentpubens verksamhet och att du tar ansvar inom det din roll kräver. Du måste också behärska svenska i tal och skrift.
