The mentoring programme 3xMentor connects mentors and mentees across three tiers.

I 3xMentor We create a network between first-year students at Widerströmska gymnasium, students at Södertörns högskola, and the working life. A forum of knowledge, inspiration, and exchange of experiences across generations and educational boundaries.

Together we build confidence in the future, broad-based skills, and strong leaders. A collaboration between SöderS, Södertörn University College, Widerströmska Gymnasium, Huddinge Municipality, and the working world.

Flemingsberg: The knowledge hub of the future

3xMentor is designed to actively contribute to Huddinge Municipality's development of Flemingsberg as a regional center for knowledge-intensive business, higher education and research.

By creating structured and recurring meeting places between upper secondary school, higher education and working life, the programme establishes a social and organisational arena for the exchange of knowledge in Flemingsberg.

Three-tier mentorship

Sixth-formers

Upper secondary school students from Widerströmska gymnasiet are given 3xMentor to be adeptees of students at Södertörns University College. In the meeting with their mentor, the student learns about how higher education works and the opportunities available as a student. Through this, we create a sense of familiarity with higher education for the student and confidence for the future after high school graduation.

Students

Students from Södertörn University are getting in 3xMentor act both mentors for high school students and adoptions of people from the working world. Through this, the student gains stronger leadership skills in their mentoring role, and a closer connection to the working world as an apprentice. Through this, the student also gains an extra asset on their CV and a wider network of contacts.

Working life

People from working life are given 3xMentor act mentorships for students from Södertörn University College. Through this opportunity, you can build relationships with local talent in Flemingsberg, strengthen the school’s relationship with academia, and become a role model for a student.

We match mentees and mentors based on knowledge and interests, to make the programme as rewarding as possible for all parties involved. The goal is for it to deliver real results for the individual taking part in the programme, both in the form of practical knowledge and insights that they will carry with them further in life.

The mentoring programme 3xMentor requires that time can be set aside for meetings and contact a few times a month for the project. The project itself runs until the spring semester of 2027.

Of course, we make arrangements so that one can miss individual meeting occasions due to illness or other complicating circumstances.

Physical meetings take place primarily in Flemingsberg and Huddinge.
