Criteria for the allocation of funds
As a member of förening, you can apply for funding from SöderS’s activity fund.
- The event must be open to all students at Södertörn University. However, it is possible to require membership of föreningen and SöderS. It must be made clear in all communications that all students at Södertörn University are welcome.
- The activity will be held on Campus Flemingsberg.
- It must be stated in the activity's communication and to the activity's participants that the activity takes place with the support of SöderS.
- One third (⅓) of the activity is planned to be financed by other funds.
- The applied for grant does not exceed SEK 3,000 + SEK 80 per participant.
- Applied for grants may not be used for the purchase of alcohol or nicotine products.
- An association bank account is required to receive the granted funds.
- Applicants for association must have reported their operation for association in the most recent relevant period, which is the end of February each year.
- Applicants are encouraged to consider SöderS' current goals, but it is not mandatory.
Exceptions can be made if there are special circumstances and the reasons are well justified. No exceptions are made to the rule that the grant may not be used for the purchase of alcohol or nicotine products.
A association may be awarded a maximum of 20,000 SEK per verksamhet year from the Activity Fund. For associations projects seeking funding of more than 10,000 SEK during a verksamhet year, the project’s communications must clearly encourage and promote membership of the student union. Applicants are encouraged to take SöderS’s current objectives into account, but this is not mandatory.
Applications for funds from the activity fund can be made retroactively. In such cases, the required documents for reporting back must be attached to the application.
Accounting
Once the activity has been completed, föreningen must submit a report containing an evaluation of the activity, the financial outcome and copies of receipts. This is to be done using the digital form further down this page.
A association cannot be granted further funding from the Activity Fund until a final report has been submitted and approved by the board. If no final report is submitted, the association is obliged to repay the full amount granted to SöderS.
