On 4 February 2026, SöderS, together with Södertörn University and Älvsjö Sexual Health, held a themed day focusing on sexual health. What was previously Week Six (2025), has grown larger and is now Education.

We had the honour of welcoming around 200 degree students from the teacher training and social work programmes at Södertörn University. It was a packed day with some difficult, but important, topics on the schedule. Thanks to the fantastic organisations that lectured during the day, the students went home with deeper knowledge about violence in young people's relationships, post-rape care, female genital mutilation, and young people in honour-related contexts.

As well as a lecture series, we also offered a fair with the opportunity to ask questions to knowledgeable representatives from various organisations and functions at the university. Thanks to Föreningen Tillsammans, KI Student Health Services, Huddinge Youth Clinic, Älvsjö Sexual Health, and SH Student Health Services!

Why 6ucation?

Education is a collaboration between SöderS, Södertörn University, and the Älvsjö Sexual Health Clinic. Together, we share the ambition of increasing students' awareness of sexual health and all that it entails – from safe sex and relationships to sexual oppression and discrimination. This ambition then resulted in Education, an annual full-day event featuring a fair, lectures and open discussion forums. We invite external organisations and speakers to broaden the perspective with something new every year, and we also invite you – the students – to take part in this event with us! No advance registration is required to attend, just drop by the union building during the event's opening hours!
