The Erasmus Student Network is the largest student organisation in Europe working in the field of internationalisation of higher education. Under the motto “Students helping students”, ESN supports international students and promotes student mobility through peer-to-peer activities, advocacy, and cooperation with higher education institutions.
ESN is active in over 40 countries and is officially recognised at European level, including as part of the Erasmus+ Student and Alumni Alliance (ESAA), positioning the organisation also as a mobility alumni network. In Sweden, ESN plays a key role in supporting incoming and outgoing students before, during and after their mobility period.
We are recruiting for the following positions (along with a short description of the typical tasks expected of the role):
- President
- Lead the section and coordinate the board
- Represent ESN Södertörn externally
- Shape the vision and strategy of the section
- Vice-President
- Support the President and board
- Coordinate members and meetings
- Strengthen internal communication
- Treasurer
- Manage the section’s finances
- Handle reimbursements and budgeting
- Maintain financial transparency
- Communications Manager
- Manage communication of the section (mostly Instagram, WhatsApp, Hitract)
- Promote events and collaboration
- Create content and maintain branding
- Event Coordinator
- Plan and organise events (in collaboration with volunteers)
- Coordinate event logistics and teams
- Create engaging activities for students
