SöderS is looking for a part-time temporary project manager to drive the launch of the mentorship programme 3xMentor.
About the service
SöderS is looking for a part-time project manager to lead the start-up phase of the mentorship programme 3xMentor. The assignment involves taking the project from the idea stage to a viable and funded setup, in close collaboration with Södertörn University and Huddinge Municipality. The programme aims to create structured meeting places between upper secondary school pupils, students, and working life, with the goal of strengthening the transition to higher education and establishment in the labour market.
As project manager, you are responsible for establishing the structure, working methods and content for the project. You lead the work to establish relevant partnerships, plan the recruitment of participants and develop frameworks for the mentorship. A central part of the role is also to identify and apply for external funding ahead of the implementation phase, where the continuation of the project is dependent on securing additional funds.
The assignment is characterised by a high degree of independence. You drive the work forward, make priorities and turn ideas into concrete steps. At the same time, the work takes place in close dialogue with the SöderS office, which assists with support, stakeholder engagement and access to relevant contact networks. You will also work in a context where multiple stakeholders are involved, which requires good collaborative skills and the ability to navigate different interests.
The role suits you if you have previously worked on a project basis and thrive in the borderland between strategic and operational work. You have the ability to structure complex assignments, build relationships and drive processes forward. Experience of working with external funding, partnerships or collaborative projects is an advantage.
The position is at 30 percent starting on 1 August and runs until 1 January, with the possibility of extension. The assignment can advantageously be combined with other occupation, for example freelance work, consultancy work or studies.

- drives the work of identifying and applying for external funding
You work independently, with support from the SöderS office and access to networks within the university and municipality.
About the project
3xMentor connects upper secondary school pupils, university students and working life in a three-tier mentorship. The project is run in collaboration with Södertörn University and Huddinge Municipality and aims to strengthen the pathways between studies and working life.
We are looking for you who
- is used to running projects or assignments independently
- thrives in the borderland between idea and execution
- has a good ability to structure, prioritise and get things done
- ideally with experience in finance, applications and/or partnerships
This assignment is particularly suited to you who freelance, run your own business or combine multiple assignments.
It is an advantage if you
- is or has been a student at Södertörn University
- is or has been involved in SöderS or another student union
- has experience of working in the voluntary sector association
- has experience of collaboration between different actors
About the assignment
- Scope: 30 %, equivalent to 15 hours per week
- Period: 1 August – 1 January (with the possibility of extension)
- Location: Flemingsberg, with the possibility of some hybrid working
