Historic (and very tasty) news for Södertörn University students! On the 4th and 5th of June 2026, the university will be holding graduation ceremonies for students graduating this spring!

This is truly something to celebrate. For years, students at Södertörn University have wished for proper graduation ceremonies – something that previously did not exist until now, except for the Police Education and Teacher Education programmes. On the 4th and 5th of June 2026, students graduating this spring can look forward to a ceremony together with their family and friends. For students graduating from the Teacher Education programme, the ceremony will take place on the 10th of June!

The Student Union will be part of a project group this spring to implement this new tradition at the higher education institution. We take pride in being involved in realising the students' wishes, and we hope these incredible news make the graduating students both happy and proud!
