Hi!
My name is Ronja Pedersen and I am 29 years old. I have just graduated with a master's degree in ethnology here at Södertörn University and I am now SöderS' new student and doctoral student representative.
Throughout my studies, I have been involved as a student representative in various bodies, including a program council, the department board of the Department of History and Contemporary Studies (HSS) and the faculty board. I have also been a student representative at HSS for the past two years and during the academic year 23/24 I was a board member of the SöderS board. It therefore feels extra fun to start the time after my studies at SöderS and be able to continue working with issues related to student rights and social sustainability at Södertörn University.
In my role as student and doctoral student representative, I will coordinate student representatives and student protection representatives at the university. I will also be an active part of the advocacy work that SöderS is doing for the right to a safe and legally secure education at Södertörn University. You can turn to me and my colleague Isabella if, for example, you have been unfairly treated, want advice or support in a conflict, or if you want to become a student representative!
I look forward to getting to know all the committed students and inspiring more to get involved!
