In January 2025, Mariam (left) and Sara (right) got in touch – independently of one another – with SöderS, expressing an interest in potentially reviving the MSSH society. By pooling their interest, Mariam, Sara and over 10 other committed students came together at MSSH’s annual meeting event on Friday 25 April.

On the agenda were, among other things, the appointment of the chairperson, vice-chairperson, other board positions as well as the determination of the association's structure, purpose and goals. Muslim students at Södertörn Universityis an association and aims to create a sense of community and joy among Muslim students at the higher education institution.
