Hello! My name is Eva Gauffin, I am 23 years old and I have just graduated with a bachelor's degree from Södertörn University's communications programme. 

Being able to stay on our lovely campus, now as a communications officer for the student union, feels fantastic! During my time studying here at the university, I developed a great interest in visual communication, marketing and brand communication. In addition to this, I have also always been very interested in politics and societal development, and before I found my way here, I was involved on a voluntary basis as a communications officer for Stockholm Pride, amongst other things. 

My main responsibilities are to work on external and internal communications, and to support operations and associations with communications that foster further development, outreach and continued student engagement. I will also be working on events and other initiatives that create added value for SöderS members and the university’s students. 

As I started a couple of weeks ago, some of you may already have met me at one of the activities to mark the start of the spring term. I’m looking forward to settling in at the student union and being involved in the development of the union’s operation!

Best place to study at the university?

Definitely the student union's communal activity areas or the library's quiet rooms.

What is the best thing about SöderS?

The diversity of knowledge and experience!

Getting to know the university college students and developing the student union's impact on campus.

How do you get to work? What is the best thing about SöderS?

I like to vary my route, but I always take public transport. So it always involves the bus one way or another!
