för BookS – SöderS Andrahandsbokhandel
Introduction
BookS är Södertörns högskolas studentkårs andrahandsbokhandel och tillhandahåller begagnad och billig kurslitteratur till högskolans studenter. BookS fungerar också som en kontaktyta för studentkårens målgrupp och ska vara en utvecklande möjlighet för studenter att arbeta inom service och försäljning och på andra sätt driva en affärsverksamhet.

Terms of purchase
When buying used course literature, the student pays the seller directly. Payment is made via Swish. Recipient details are provided by the bookstore at the time of purchase. Payment confirmation must be presented upon completion of the purchase. Books are purchased in their existing condition. No right of return applies.
Purchases of other products in the bookstore can be paid by credit card.

Inlämnande av böcker
Inlämning av kurslitteratur till bokhandeln görs på plats genom anvisat formulär. Vid inlämning av böcker behöver säljaren ange för- och efternamn, telefonnummer och e-postadress samt information om böckerna som lämnas in. Säljaren sätter själv priset på böckerna. Dessa får dock ej överskrida 80 % av nypris.
SöderS tar ej emot skönlitteratur om det inte är litteratur som ingår i kurser vid högskolan. SöderS förbehåller sig rätten att neka till exempel trasig, misskött eller utdaterad litteratur.
Intermediation fee
Förmedlingsavgiften är 20 kr per inlämnad bok för medlemmar i studentkåren. För icke-medlemmar är förmedlingsavgiften 40 kr per inlämnad bok. Merrabatt tillämpas ju fler böcker som lämnas in. Förmedlingsavgift betalas på plats vid inlämnande av böcker.
Sales and marketing
Sales of course books are made on commission. This means that the seller owns their books until they are sold. The seller can choose to collect their literature at any time before the sale has taken place. Brokerage fees are not refundable.
In the event of loss of a book, SöderS is liable to refund the seller. The compensation is paid according to the seller's pricing of the book.
In case of no sale
If the sale has not taken place one (1) year after submission, the seller can choose to collect their book or donate it to SöderS. In the event of no response from the seller, the book belongs to SöderS. The deadline for non-response is one (1) month.
