After a long, but exciting, annual meeting on May 21, 2025, SöderS leaves the room MA648 with a smile on our faces. Not only have the union members voted in a new, fantastic board - we have approved our upcoming operational plan, welcomed two new member associations, and we are very much looking forward to leading the "Students' democratic space" as the next student political focus issue!

Besides this, it was very warming to see so many members and student associations present. SöderS is united and strong, and it is with optimism and curiosity that we look to the future.

A big thank you goes to the Election Committee for its solid work and fine selection of candidates for the SöderS Board. A great deal of credit should also be given to the members present who both ran and nominated themselves and others for board and nomination committee positions. Thanks also to all meeting volunteers, the SöderS Board, and of course all participants, for a successful and atmospheric annual meeting!

In the 2025/26 financial year, the President will be on a full-time honorary basis. This means a new chapter for the Student Union, where the future President (Adam Hemdan) will be present at SöderS full time together with the SöderS office. We believe that this change will make the relationship between the Board and members even closer and stronger.
