On the 2nd of May in 1996, Södertörn University Student Union came to be. Our boards, staff, logotypes and styles may have changed throughout the years – but our purpose has stayed the same. For 30 years, we have been here when students from different generations, backgrounds, and experiences have completed their studies and made an impact on the student life and body at Södertörn University. It is an honor to still be here to welcome new students from across Sweden and the rest of the world, in the beginning of and during their student adventures.
The theme for this event is to highlight the history of our existence, and to celebrate the milestones and impact we have achieved throughout the years.

New addition!
Pre-mingle
Kick off the evening with our pre-mingle event. This is the perfect opportunity to find your company for the rest of the night, especially if you come by yourself. From 16:00, we’ll open the doors in SöderS Pub and give you an alcohol free mingle drink. No pre-registration needed, just show your event ticket at the door.
Dinner
The dinner starts at 17:00 at restaurant Allé Elva, Alfred Nobels allé 11. We offer a three course meal and a cozy atmosphere, together with speeches, music, and lots of possibilities to connect and mingle with each other.
The three course meal is completely vegan, and special allergies and food preferences need to be stated while purchasing the ticket for the event.
No alcohol is served during dinner, but is available for self-purchase at Allé Elva. Of course we’ll offer you a welcoming drink (alcohol free) at arrival!
Afterparty
After dinner, we welcome you to the Afterparty at SöderS Pub, Alfred Nobels allé 9, which starts at 19:00. Guests with a dinner ticker (bundle ticket) are granted access to the Afterparty. However, it is possible to buy a ticket only for the Afterparty without the dinner at Allé Elva.
We’ll check your ticket at the door, and a place to hang your coat and bag in the wardrobe is granted for free through the ticket.
During the Afterparty, we’ll bring your some good music and a live DJ – so get ready to dance all night and celebrate with us. There will also be social spots for you to mingle and get to know other guests at the party.

The event takes place in the heart of Campus Flemingsberg. The closest train station is Flemingsberg with both Mälartåg/SJ Intercity Train and the pendeltrain.
