Hello!
My name is Ronja Pedersen and I am 29 years old. I have just graduated with a Master's degree in ethnology here at S\u00f6dert\u00f6rn University and am now S\u00f6derS' new student and doctoral ombudsperson.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout my studies, I have been involved as a student representative in various bodies, including a programme council, the departmental board at the Department of History and Contemporary Studies (HSS), and the faculty board. I have also been the student health and safety representative at HSS for the past two years, and during the 23\/24 academic year, I was a board member of the S\u00f6derS board. It therefore feels especially exciting to begin the post-study period at S\u00f6derS and be able to continue working on issues concerning student rights and social sustainability at S\u00f6dert\u00f6rn University.
In my role as a student and doctoral student ombudsperson, I will coordinate student representatives and student safety representatives at the university. I will also be an active part of the advocacy work that S\u00f6derS carries out for the right to a secure education with legal certainty at S\u00f6dert\u00f6rn University. Students can turn to me and my colleague Isabella if, for example, they have been treated unfairly, want advice or support in a conflict, or want to become a student representative!
I look forward to getting to know all the dedicated students and inspiring more to get involved!
