S\u00f6derS annual meeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

S\u00f6derS is a non-profit association organisation, which means that it is the members who hold the power over us. S\u00f6derS holds two \u00e5rsm\u00f6ten meetings \u2013 the autumn and spring general meetings \u2013 to which members are invited to make decisions regarding our finances, operation and elected representatives. As a student union, members\u2019 influence over the organisation is also regulated by the Higher Education Act and the Student Union Regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the spring meeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the spring meeting, decisions are taken regarding the coming verksamhet year. At the spring meeting, decisions on the verksamhet plan, financial framework and organisational structure are to be adopted. Elections to positions of trust are to be held at the spring meeting. The spring meeting shall take place in May each year, following a decision by the board.

At every spring meeting, the following items shall be addressed:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Closing of the meeting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Opening of the meeting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Compilation of the electoral register<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Approval of the agenda<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Question regarding \u00e5rsm\u00f6tet\u2019s quorum<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Election of meeting chair<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Election of meeting secretary<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Election of meeting checker and vote counter<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Adoption of \u00e5rsm\u00f6tet\u2019s Rules of Procedure<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Processing of submitted motions and private members' bills<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Setting the membership fee for the coming verksamhet year<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  12. Election of the nomination committee<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  13. Appointment of verksamhet\u2019s auditor and authorised public accountant<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  14. Determination of the size of the board of directors<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  15. Election of the board<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Regarding the autumn meeting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    At the autumn meeting, decisions are taken regarding the past verksamhet financial year. The autumn meeting is to take place in November each year, following a decision by the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Compilation of the electoral register<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    5. Election of meeting chair<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    7. Election of meeting checker and vote counter<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. Adoption of \u00e5rsm\u00f6tet\u2019s Rules of Procedure<\/li>\n\n\n\n

    10. Adoption of the verksamhets and the auditor\u2019s report<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    11. Question of discharge from liability for the board<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    12. Closing of the meeting<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

      The spring meeting will take place on 28 May in the union building (S\u00f6derS Pub) at 17:00.
