Attend the Influence Forum<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Influence Forum is a meeting place for all student representatives. Here, you get the chance to meet other student representatives to share experiences and ideas with each other, as well as gain valuable tools to help you develop in your roles as student representatives. We organise a total of 5 Influence Forums per academic year. Information and invitations are sent out to each student representative by email well in advance of each meeting.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Earn merit points for your assignment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For those of you who are members of S\u00f6derS, there is the opportunity to obtain a certificate for your role as a student representative and merit points. The merit points are intended to be used when applying for exchange studies at S\u00f6dert\u00f6rn University and will increase your chances of getting the exchange place you want. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Increase your engagement in central bodies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When you take on the role of student representative, you are appointed to a body at local level; that is, a subject or programme council. There is also the opportunity to expand your involvement and become a student representative in central bodies at the higher education institution. The prerequisite is that you have been a student representative for one semester at local level and have an interest in getting involved in the issues discussed in the specific central body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Receive payment for your assignment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you are a member of the student union, you are entitled to a fee for your assignment as a student representative. In order for us to pay you the correct fee, you need to fill in a time reporting form no later than 30 days after the end of the term, where you state the number of meetings and chair decisions you have participated in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
