Good academic results and commitment during your studies therefore give priority to exchange studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:68px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-separator uagb-block-0b4f4972 wp-block-uagb-separator--text\"><div class=\"wp-block-uagb-separator__inner\" style=\"--my-background-image:\"><div class=\"wp-block-uagb-separator-element\"><h2 class=\"uagb-html-tag\">Requirements for being awarded merit points<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-large-font-size\" style=\"margin-bottom:-12px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">To obtain merit points for engagement and activities, the student is required to:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-medium-font-size\">\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">has completed and concluded their assignment upon the issuance of merit points, or alternatively has held the assignment for at least one term<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">has been formally assigned the task by a responsible department within S\u00f6derS, its associations or operations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">is a member of S\u00f6derS at the time of application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">All applications for merit points are made retroactively after the assignment has been completed. Students cannot request merit points or certificates for engagement if S\u00f6derS no longer holds stored data about the student. The storage of students' and members' personal data by S\u00f6derS is regulated in the Data Protection Policy for S\u00f6dert\u00f6rns h\u00f6gskolas studentk\u00e5r. <br><br>Students can be awarded a total of between 0.25 and 5 merit points. If the total merit value of the assignments exceeds 5, only 5 merit points are awarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/soders.nu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Riktlinjer-och-rutiner-for-meritpoang-2026-01-15.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button wp-element-button\" download>Guidelines for merit points \u2193<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:68px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-separator uagb-block-0b4f4972 wp-block-uagb-separator--text\"><div class=\"wp-block-uagb-separator__inner\" style=\"--my-background-image:\"><div class=\"wp-block-uagb-separator-element\"><h2 class=\"uagb-html-tag\">Information to be provided upon application<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-large-font-size\" style=\"margin-bottom:-12px;font-style:normal;font-weight:200\">Applications for merit points must include:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-small-font-size\">\n<li>a list of the assignments for which the student is applying for credit points, including a description of the assignments and the term or year in which they were carried out<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>student's first and last name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>student's national insurance number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>student email address<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:19px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:68px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-separator uagb-block-0b4f4972 wp-block-uagb-separator--text\"><div class=\"wp-block-uagb-separator__inner\" style=\"--my-background-image:\"><div class=\"wp-block-uagb-separator-element\"><h2 class=\"uagb-html-tag\">Assignments eligible for merit points<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-55a0b918 wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To the eye, the scores look stingy compared to how the points system has looked in previous years. The current system, which is still relatively new, has decreased in numerical value - but increased in merit value.
