The association's membership of the student union<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Student Union, S\u00f6derS, is the umbrella organisation that supports the university\u2019s student associations in your activities. We facilitate and make your work easier. Through your membership with us, you can easily book venues for events, apply for financial grants and find support in running your f\u00f6rening group. Through the union, you also become part of the wider f\u00f6rening community, and we create forums and platforms for collaboration between us and amongst yourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Documents to send to S\u00f6derS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To apply for membership in S\u00f6derS \u2013 S\u00f6dert\u00f6rn University Student Union, the following three documents must be sent to the S\u00f6derS board:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The association's adopted articles of association<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

These set out key details such as the purpose of f\u00f6rening.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

2. Annual general meeting minutes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The minutes of the inaugural the annual meeting meeting must be attached to the f\u00f6rening application. The minutes must clearly state who was present, what decisions were taken and who has been elected to the f\u00f6rening board.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

3. Formal application with at least 20 signatures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The application for membership must be seconded by twenty students who are members of the student union.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Requirements for approval as a member f\u00f6rening<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The S\u00f6derS Board considers the application in the form of a motion, which it forwards to the annual meeting for a decision. However, the Board may provisionally appoint a association until the matter has been decided at the spring or autumn meeting.
